Mid-Market Account Executive · AI & Workflow Automation
I'm Thomas, an AE with 6+ years in AI & SaaS sales and a proven $5M+ track record at Salesforce, UiPath, and Gong. Now, I'm ready to leverage my energy and sales success to help n8n become the workflow automation standard for mid-market companies across Europe.
The founding story: At Gong, I was the second AE hired to open the French market from scratch. We had a limited playbook, minimal brand awareness and needed to use every way possible to build pipeline. I over-achieved Y1 revenue targets including closing the biggest Mid-Market France deal, collaborating across SDRs, SEs, and Marketing to unlock revenue growth with a Land & Expand approach.
The Swiss enterprise story: At UiPath in Geneva, I led complex sales for Switzerland's largest enterprises across banking, healthcare, manufacturing, and insurance, turning a 35% renewal risk into a 17% ACV increase, doubling ACV with our two biggest accounts ($400K+ deals) in Romandie, and directing a 4-person squad for multi-country expansion. I know the European enterprise landscape, the decision-making culture, and how to build trust with C-suite buyers and stakeholders.
Found that a CSO ran the Paris Marathon and created his own alcohol brand. Referenced his race, connected it to his team's performance, and sent a bottle of Génépi from my home region in the Alps to his office.
A CEO's LinkedIn bio mentioned lifelong learning and adventure. Found his Instagram page where a surfboard was visible. Connected on shared passions, referenced a past Gong visit, and opened a real conversation.
Found a YouTube video sponsored by a CSO's company. Used it in the subject line, referenced his competitor's tools, and sent a custom plastic action figure of him following a LinkedIn trend.
As companies rush to integrate AI and automate processes, many realise that "stitching" together disparate tools is a recipe for technical debt. They find themselves stuck between two extremes: hiring expensive teams to manage complex workflows or using restrictive tools that offer zero control. At least that's what I observed when I was selling Robotic Process Automation at UiPath or AI-native sales at Gong.
n8n changes the game by offering the rare trifecta of flexibility, ease of use, and total ownership.
My background at UiPath and Gong gives me a unique vantage point. I've handled the "build-vs-buy" objections and helped enterprises scale complex processes. I understand the compliance and security hurdles, GDPR worries and I know how to turn technical flexibility into a positive ROI to convince both CTOs and CFOs.
Here's what I keep seeing in conversations with technical leaders: they want to move fast with AI, but they don't want to hand over control to yet another closed platform. n8n's open-source foundation, self-hosting options, and hundreds of integrations give them exactly what they're looking for: the power to build whatever they need, on their own terms.
The bigger picture excites me even more. Beyond automating tasks, n8n helps tech teams rethink how they operate with AI agents, custom workflows, and intelligent orchestration.
I spent a few minutes on a territory strategy, quickly explaining how I would organize my sales approach should I join your team. Curious to know your feedback on this :)
Mid-market technical teams (100-2000 employees) evaluating workflow automation and AI agent deployment. Lead with self-hosting + open-source flexibility: control-first automation that unlocks AI without vendor lock-in. Position against Zapier (limited logic), Make (scalability ceiling), and custom code (time-to-value).
Champion: VP Engineering / Head of DevOps. Economic buyer: CTO / VP Product. Blocker: Security / Procurement. Multi-thread early, arm the champion with ROI cases, address data sovereignty proactively. First question: "What would change for your team if you could automate any workflow and deploy AI agents, all on your own infrastructure?"
Deep immersion in n8n's product, AI agent capabilities, and self-hosting architecture. Shadow top AEs on live mid-market calls. Study closed-won & closed-lost deals to map objection patterns and ICP. Activate the n8n partner ecosystem and build a target account list across key verticals.
Launch hyper-personalized outbound sequences leveraging the n8n community as a warm pipeline source. Leverage existing network from UiPath and Gong for warm intros. Generate first qualified pipeline. Refine messaging with Marketing and align with Solutions Engineering on joint demo motions.
Run active deal cycles with new logos. First POC or cloud deployment in progress. Pipeline at 3x quota target. Document mid-market playbook learnings and share with GTM team to scale acquisition motions across the org.
